Ordering
Once you place your order, we will review it and process it. If we notice any missing information or anticipate any issues, we will get in touch with you to ask further questions.
Price
Your payment is taken as you place your order - so you will always be charged at the rate advertised at the point of ordering. While we may raise prices once per year, we will adjust prices as necessary at other intervals.
Quality & Condition of Our Products
We take pride in the quality and condition of our cheese and that it should reach you in the best possible condition.
Orders are shipped in insulated packaging with ice bricks when given to either an overnight courier or a postal service for delivery.
For some regional parts of Australia, delivery can take longer. In these cases, we will pack your order with additional ice so that it will travel better.
There is no such thing as door-to-door refrigerated transport in Australia yet. The service we use is fast but not refrigerated. We counter this by using specially designed packaging to minimise the effect of heat on your cheese.
Dependent upon your location, most orders will be received by the recipient within 48 hours of dispatch.
You will be notified by us when your order has been dispatched.
Important Delivery Terms
Our delivery terms include our Shipping Policy as well as the following:
- The Recipient needs to make sure someone is home to receive the package, as cheese is a perishable item, therefore the package should not be left unattended at the delivery address.
- The Recipient should note that it is not unusual, when receiving the package, to find that the ice bricks have melted and the box temperature is higher than your refrigerator temperature. So please:
- Place your cheese into your refrigerator as soon as possible.
- Do not panic if it is not as cool as in a refrigerator, as we often mature cheese at 10-14 degrees and this is quite normal, as we hasten the maturing process in those temperatures.
- If the product is slightly out of shape, the cheese may not be harmed, but it may have a strong cheesy smell.
Your Payment
We accept payment online or by phone by Visa or MasterCard.
Your payment is processed via a fully authorised Payment Service which ensures that all your information remains totally confidential.
Payment is taken as you place your order and if the payment does not authorise successfully, your order will not be successfully processed. Please check that you receive not only a confirmation of your order but also a confirmation of your payment by email. If you have not received one of these, your order may not be placed successfully.
